In my Witnessland neighborhood I once saw an entire set of cast iron pans, Dutch oven and one of those long rectangular cooking things discarded by the trash. I thought "Oh great!" but then I saw that they were a little rusty. Now I'm kicking myself in the behind for passing them up. I could have done something about the rust but....

Cooking With Cast Iron
by Simon ini can't even remember what got me interested in pans, probably wanting to try cooking more and watching some cooking videos on youtube, but i kind of started wanting to get a cast-iron skillet specifically so started reading up on them.
hey, if you're going to spend $50 on something you need to study them and create a comparison spreadsheet ... right?.
not only did cast-iron look great for cooking but there are some studies that show risks to aluminium / teflon cookware ... not that the wts was "right" about aluminium, but teflon can give off carcinogenic chemicals if overheated (so what if it chips off into your food?).

UC Berkeley orders cancellation of Ann Coulter speech
by freemindfade inuc berkeley administrators canceled a scheduled speech by right-wing pundit ann coulter, saying they can’t protect participants from rioting if it goes ahead.
http://www.sfgate.com/bayarea/article/uc-berkeley-orders-cancellation-of-ann-coulter-11084299.php.
now i am no ann coulter fan (although the sjw police on here will accuse me of being a fan shortly after posting this), but i am a fan of free speech!

We have to come to the realization that people like Ann Coulter have been insulting and demonizing those who are on the other side of the divide for decades. While I believe in free speech for everyone in the public arena I would not invite Coulter into my home, business or school. I might reconsider an invitation to the school if there were somebody else representing what those student's political identity is (Liberals?) in a debate framework.
One like for Bw500 on the lack of obligation to include anyone like Coulter. That doesn't mean that there's anything wrong with inviting a conservative who doesn't share the views of most students but that would have to be someone who's been known to be respectful of others. Coulter definitely is not one of those persons.

Re-read Animal Farm.
by The Rebel ini was one of many witness children, who studied this book in english literature class.. having re-read it as an adult it addressed so many issues i have with the organisation.
including maniputive control, the re-writing of history etc etc.
so many of the characters in the book, resembled characters i have known in the organisation.. boxer- loyalty without questioning.. squeler- a character who doesn't care about truth, and uses rhetoric of language to twist truth.. clover-who silently questions decisions, but stays loyal.. if your young, or old i would suggest reading this small book, by george orwell.

The most impressive thing about the book is how it can be easily read by children and adults.
My favorite character was Snowball who was run off the farm. Long after he was gone he was blamed for any misfortune that occurred in the farm. This absent scapegoat reminded me of Goldstein in Orwell's book 1984; Obama nowadays (who is being blamed for any silly thing by the alt-right even after he's gone.) and finally, apostates from the WT.

Bungi Bill,
That still requires a stable grid - as do wind turbines.
Why would a network of wind; photovoltaic; concentrated solar power with molten salt or hot sand (They collect energy in the day and have enough during the night to still produce power.) - why would all of these not be able to provide a stable grid? The more varied sources you have, each complimenting the other, the more stability you get.
Also, you may ask the Chinese why they're ramping up their production of windmills by about 50% per year. They already have 3% of their total needs met by windmills. They are also extending their grid to power far off regions in their country.
Bottom line, it's working in other nations.

Bungi Bill,
...what happens during the hours of darkness?).
Windmills is the short answer. Offshore and inshore windmills together can provide a steady stream of electricity because there is always a wind at the ocean. 50% of the population in the US, and probably more in Australia, live within 50 miles off the coast which puts those windmills right where the grid is at.
You can also have gas powered plants to pick up any slack. They're already used at night when demand for electricity is higher. The idea is to have an 80% reduction in fossil fuel burning.
A high proportion of "distributed" generation (principally photo voltaic cells and wind turbines) creates great potential for system instability (as was revealed in last year's power blackout in South Australia).
It works in Europe. What are they doing differently from Australia? Besides, Malcolm Turnbull admitted that it was the weather (2:42 on the video) that caused that blackout there.

Lost his mind,
There is no way to store solar energy. Simple as that. Unless you have the huge amounts of batteries at your home to do this.
Tesla is selling the Powerwall which is capable of storing enough energy to run your appliances if you have several of them.
Like solar energy batteries are quickly dropping in price as well as increasing in the amount of energy they store. Powerwalls have been declining in price.
The Powerwall is the white fixture attached to the outside wall.

Snowbird,
Also, why did it take Adam and Eve so long to produce a son after Abel's death and Cain's banishment?
She had a 100 year long headache.

Jehovah Witnesses Unaware They Are Fulfilling Bible Prophecies
by Wakeupcall2u injehovah witnesses unaware they are fulling bible prophecies.
for many of us witnesses that have left either as stricken lost sheep or unlawfully disfellowshiped please consider that our brothers & sisters in the synagogues of kingdom halls are misled & need our help in trying to pull them out of the fire.
the test now on them is about just how they are treating their unlawfully excluded (disfellowshiped) brothers & sisters, as foretold at isaiah 66. at present they sit in judgement on us the growing great crowd who have come out & they are prepared with hard- heartedness to condemn their brothers & sisters to a final everlasting death, by running away as spiritual cowards refusing us a cup of life giving water (truth) matt 10: to explain the apostasy in their temple the disgusting thing in the holy place.

I hate the Watchtower but I really still hate the Trinity Jesus is NOT God!
by Witness 007 insome bibles use the term "worship" when refering to jesus...at times people did fall down and bow to him........this doesn't show he was god!
the greek term; proskeyneo, means to prostrate oneself, to bow down and show honour.
now, this was done for jehovah.....and his representatives....jesus israelite kings and priests....but for the honour of jehovah not as creature worship which even angels would refuse.. also i studied the non-biblical early church gospels which really does show a slow decline over 150 years, into the trinity as the watchtower claims...........although i still hate the watchtower society at least i learnt something that wasn't a lie..

When I think of the Trinity I'm amused by the fact that the "Holy Spirit" has no personality whatsoever. God the Father plays his role as father and God the Son plays his role as, ahhh, son. But the Holy Spirit is as bland as an impersonal wind.
